It is a great area for day trips from the Twin Cities with great outdoor opportunities on both sides of the River. If you are looking for an opportunity to take a day trip canoeing or kayaking on the St. Croix, then we would highly recommend Riverwood Canoe in Osceola. Their staff are very fun and friendly. In addition, Osceola is a nice, small western Wisconsin community providing lots of food and shopping small opportunities either before or after your trip. We'd highly recommend Riverwood Canoe for your next day trip paddling on the St. Croix along with a side trip to downtown Osceola while your'e there. Enjoy!July 18, 2016
